OUTDOOR SAFETY
Lyme disease is a danger on the Outer Cape. Check yourself and your pets carefully for ticks, especially if you have been in grassy or wooded areas. Poison ivy grows freely in the woods and in the dunes. Be careful and remember, “Leaves of three, let it be!”
The Cape is populated with coyotes. They prey on small dogs and cats, even during daylight hours. Please be careful with your pets!
