The Recreation Department runs a summer program 9am-3pm, Mon-Fri for kids from Jun 25-Aug 31. Arts and crafts, swimming, dance, sports, games, and field trips are a part of each fun-filled week! After 3pm, kids of all ages can take advantage of the community center’s recreation space that features pool, ping-pong tables, and foosball, or they can work out in the newly renovated gym. The West End Racing Club

Touted as one of the best children’s activities in Provincetown, the WERC has been the highlight of countless children’s summers for over fifty years. The Club is open from early morning until late afternoon Jul-Labor Day. Children and young teens, for a nominal annual membership fee, can spend the afternoon learning to sail, racing small sailboats, swimming, and making new friends. There is no phone at the club, so stop by during open hours 9am-12pm and 1-4pm.
